The University of Waikato is offering up to ten scholarships to the students pursuing undergraduate programmme. New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or international student studying at a New Zealand High School are eligible to apply for these scholarships.
The aim of these scholarships is to provide financial help to the students.
The University of Waikato is a comprehensive University in Hamilton, New Zealand, with a satellite campus located in Tauranga.
The University of Waikato owes its existence to a determined group of Hamilton locals, who in 1956 launched a petition for a university to serve the needs of the South Auckland region.
Course Level: Scholarships are available to pursue undergraduate programme.
Study Subject: Scholarships will be awarded in the field of Computer Science/Mathematics, Engineering.
Scholarship Award: These scholarships will be awarded $5,000.
Number of Scholarships: There are up to ten scholarships available.
Scholarship can be taken in the New Zealand
Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:
- Be enrolling or intending to enrol in a BCMS (Hons), BSc, BSc (Tech), BE (Hons) or BDes degree, in one of the computing streams, at the University of Waikato;
- Meet the entry requirements for their chosen programme of study (for further information, please check the FCMS website or FCMS Handbook);
- Currently be in Year 12 or Year 13; and
- Be a New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or international student studying at a New Zealand High School.
Nationality: New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or international student can apply for these scholarships.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirements: Applicants must have their previous degree.
English language Requirements: To apply for the scholarship applicants must be non-native English speaking applicants.
