VIED Scholarship Program for Vietnamese Students at Kanazawa University in Japan, 2016
Kanazawa University is now accepting applications for VIED Scholarship Program. The program is open for Vietnamese applicants who wish to pursue a master’s or doctoral degree.
Kanazawa University has concluded a Memorandum of Understanding with MOET-VIED on accepting students through Vietnam 911 and other VIED scholarship projects. This is a unique program which offers fee waiver, simplified application and selection process and other services.
Kanazawa, one of Japan’s foremost academic cities along with Kyoto and Sendai, has been fostering a lot of personnel through state-of-the-art research and studies in an atmosphere conducive to learning.
Course Level: The program targets those who wish to pursue a master’s or doctoral degree at KU.
Study Subject: Scholarship is offered over different departments across the university, all offering a diverse range of courses.
Scholarship Award: This is a unique program which offers fee waiver, simplified application and selection process, and other services.

Eligibility:
-An individual who is an academic staff member or a student of universities, colleges or research institutes in Vietnam and is (or plans to become) a candidate of a VIED scholarship.
-An individual who meets all requirements set by Kanazawa University for the eligibility to apply to KU Graduate School as a Master’s or Doctoral student.
Nationality: Applicants from Vietnam are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
College Admission Requirement: Specific admission requirements are as follows:
Master’s Course, Master’s Level Section of Integrated Course and Professional Degree Course (Graduate School of Law): A person who has graduated from a college stipulated in Article 83 of the School Education Law, or who is expected to graduate from such a college by the day before admission.
Doctoral Level Section of Integrated Course: A holder of a master’s degree or a professional degree, or a person who is expected to have acquired a master’s degree or a professional degree by the day before admission.
Doctoral School of Medical Science (Doctoral Course): A person who has graduated from a college (only medicine, dentistry or veterinary medicine course) stipulated in Article 83 of the School Education Law, or who is expected to graduate from such a college by the end of the month before admission.
