APPLICATION DEADLINE
The online application platform for our Ph.D positions starting between June until October 2017 is currently open.
The application deadline is January 15, 2017.
REQUIREMENTS
Our international and interdisciplinary faculty offers positions in the areas of biology, biochemistry, biophysics, bioinformatics, bioengineering and medical biology. We invite applicants from all countries with a Diploma/Master’s or equivalent degree of the above mentioned or related fields.
Applicants with a degree in medicine are also welcome to apply provided they have sufficient relevant research experience. Furthermore, candidates require excellent written and spoken English skills (C1 level).
SELECTION PROCEDURE
We choose applicants based on their academic qualifications, their research accomplishments and their motivation to study at the CGA. A Sykpe interview will be conducted with shortlisted candidates. 25 candidates will be invited to a Selection Workshop on site. Selected candidates can start their Ph.D. position between June and October 2017. All accepted students will be enrolled through the University of Cologne.
