- Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for a Master’s degree in any of the schools within the College of Science and Engineering:
- School of Chemistry
- School of Engineering
- School of Geography, Geology and the Environment
- Computing
- Mathematical Science
- School of Physics and Astronomy
- Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the given criteria:
- Applicants must be classified as international students for fee purposes.
- Applicants must start a full-time, campus-based master’s course in the College of Science and Engineering, commencing in January 2023, September 2023, or January 2024.
How to Apply
- How to Apply: There is no need to apply for this scholarship. Eligible students will be automatically considered. If successful, applicants will be notified when they submit their final results.
- Supporting Documents: Applicants will need to Gather supporting documents in support of their application: 1) Academic qualifications and transcripts, 2) Personal statement/research proposal, 3) Two completed references or names and contact details of two people (one must be an academic referee), and Proof of English language.
- Admission Requirements: Before applying, applicants must meet all the required criteria.
- Language Requirement: Proof of English language competency(if your first language is not English)

- Degree equivalent to a UK high upper second class degree – £3,000
- Degree equivalent to a UK first-class degree – £5,000
- The fee discount will be calculated based on the standard tuition fee for each year of the course.
