[Học bổng du học Ý– Master’s Program in Mathematics taught in English- University of Verona]

The University of Verona, Italy, offers a two year Master’s Program in Mathematics taught in English, designed according to the standards of the ECMI (European Consortium for Mathematics in Industry).

A number of scholarships (duration: one year, renewable up to two years, amount EUR 9.000 gross per year) are available for very good non-EU students resident abroad and willing to enroll in the Master’s Degree in
Mathematics of the University of Verona in Italy.

The call for scholarships funded by the University of Verona for the Academic Year 2016/2017 is now open.

The Program has a strong international flavour, with many classes held by international visiting faculty. It offers courses in pure and applied mathematics, with special emphasis on financial mathematics and the applications of mathematics in other sciences. The approach is interdisciplinary and involves researchers from physics, computer
science, life and health science, and economics among others.

There is also an exchange program with the Master’s Program in Mathematics of the University of Trento, allowing students to attend courses offered by that university, and there are bilateral agreements with several European universities within the Erasmus program.

Students having completed the Master’s program will be able to work in banks and industry, to collaborate with other scientists in interdisciplinary research teams, or to enroll in a PhD program. There is also the possibility to specialize in foundations and the teaching of mathematics (partially taught in Italian) that prepares the student for
high school teaching.

Target students will have a Laurea Triennale or an equivalent foreign degree (Bachelor), with a strong basic training in Mathematics.
