The fellowship period is 3 years. Duties may be assigned within the framework of the position. Starting date as soon as possible within autumn 2015.
Deadline for application is 1st July 2015.
Job description/ Project description:
The position is financed under the Research Council of Norway (RCN) nano2021 nationally coordinated project “FOXCET” on functional oxides for clean energy technologies – with SINTEF, NTNU, and UiO as partners. The project will study fundamental and applied aspects of solid-state electrochemistry connected to bulk and interfaces of ionically and mixed conducting ceramics for fuel cells, electrolyzers, gas separation membranes, etc., using theory, modeling, and experiments. Collaboration with colleagues at UiO, other research projects, and national partners NTNU and SINTEF is essential.
The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences has a strategic ambition of being a leading research faculty. Candidates for the fellowship will be selected in accordance with this, and expected to have expertise in the fields of the project and to be in the upper segment of their class with respect to academic credentials.
